Project Background

The historic town of Senoia, Georgia is located about 1 hour south of Atlanta. The town's proximity to Atlanta, along with an abundance of undeveloped land, puts it directly in the path of encroaching development. In 2005, Senoia's City Planner decided to take a proactive approach to protect the character of the community from haphazard growth. City officials and community stakeholders decided to establish design guidelines that would protect and enhance the historic district. Click here for more details...
